What changes in an update and how to move your data to a new version.
We update templates to fix formulas, add features and keep up with changes in Excel and Google Sheets. The date of the latest version is shown on each template's page.
Updates do not change files you have already downloaded. The new version appears in My templates, and your existing copies keep working as they are.
To move to a new version, download it and copy your input ranges across. The Start here tab of each new version lists what changed and which ranges to copy.
Single user and Team licenses include updates for one year. Enterprise licenses and subscriptions include them for as long as the license or subscription lasts.
